Wayne Kosior
CEO

Wayne Kosior is a highly experienced business executive and hockey advisor who brings unparalleled knowledge, experience amd connections in both Hockey Canada and USA Hockey. Scouting in the United States Hockey League (USHL) for the past seven years allowed Wayne to build many trusting relationships with NHL, NCAA, USHL, NAHL, CHL, and Junior “A” teams which TrailBlazer clients benefit greatly from. It also allowed Wayne the opportunity to work along side and learn from the likes of Darryl Belfry and numerous NCAA & NHL Coaches. Wayne has the unique ability to advise by drawing from personal experience as his son Landon was drafted to the USHL, highly recruited by the NCAA, played 4 seasons in the Western Hockey League (WHL), attended 3 NHL Main Camps ( 2 w/ Los Angeles Kings & Minnesota Wild) and signed an AHL-ECHL contract with the Minnesota Wild. Wayne has successfully advised hundreds of players from across Canada, USA, and Europe.

Nevin Markwart
Co-Founder & Partner

Nevin Markwart, a former 1st Round NHL selection and 9-year Boston Bruin, Nevin brings extensive hockey knowledge & connections to go along with his impressive academic & business resume. Nevin earned his Masters of Business Administration from Northeastern University in Boston, as well as Masters of Science – Cybersecurity from Ivy League Brown University. Nevin has served as the President and CEO of Calgary-based Canoe Financial, President and CEO of Toronto-based Front Street Capital, Head of Canadian Equities at Boston-based Fidelity Investments, among others.

Nevin’s hockey success, knowledge, connections, academic & business achievements provide great value & benefit to all TrailBlazer Hockey Clients.

Kevin Noble
Family Advisor

Kevin is an accomplished individual with a diverse background spanning both law and sports. With an extensive hockey career that includes playing at the NCAA 1 level and various professional leagues, Kevin brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the team. He has also achieved notable academic success, earning a Law Degree from Newcastle University and a Masters Degree from Coventry University.

Kevin’s legal career has seen him work in the field of sport and entertainment law and as a criminal lawyer for the Crown Prosecution Office. Drawing on his diverse experience in law and sports, Kevin is able to provide exceptional value and benefits to all clients of TrailBlazer Hockey. Kevin is well-equipped to navigate the complexities of sports and the legal field to deliver the best possible outcomes for his clients.

Steve Ouellette
Family Advisor

Steve is based in Rhode Island, USA and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge having 25 years of USA hockey coaching experience at the high school, junior, and NCAA hockey levels. Steve is a USA Hockey Level 5 Coach and holds a BA degree from UMASS Dartmouth, as well as completed graduate studies in Computer Information Science from Johnson & Wales University. Steve has extensive scouting experience having served as USA Regional Amateur Associate Head Scout and with International Scouting Service (ISS) receiving the award, “Top Regional ISS Mentorship Scout for his regional scouting territory: Eastern USA for 2015-2016”.

Marc Langbein
European Advisor

Marc is based in Germany and is the Founder of our European Partner WinWin-Sports. Marc is a licensed Agent in the German DEL and DEL2, as well as for the AHL and ECHL in North America. Further more Marc acts as the European Agent for our NHL Agency partner – Raze Sports. Marc has developed players from Europe to North America to Junior A, College and Pro Level. Marc and TrailBlazer Hockey’s CEO Wayne Kosior have been working with each other for many years and have a long standing trusted relationship that our joint clients benefit greatly from.

Theo Tutkaluk
Family Advisor

Theo is based in Winnipeg, Manitoba where he played hockey and earned several NCAA D3 and ACHA scholarship offers. Theo went on to obtain a BA (U of Western Ontario), DC (Southern California University) and a BEd (U of Manitoba). While attending Chiropractic School in Southern California, Theo coached hockey and obtained his Level IV USA Hockey Coaching Certification. Theo has helped many hockey players to get to higher levels of hockey and education over the past 20 years.

Cameron Braun
Family Advisor

Cameron Braun is a law student at the University of Saskatchewan. Prior to his legal studies, Cameron attended Briercrest College and Seminary on a hockey scholarship, where he pursued a degree in business administration with a minor in kinesiology. He also attended the Edwards School of Business at the University of Saskatchewan, working towards a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in finance.

Cameron’s hockey background is extensive, beginning with minor hockey in his hometown of Calgary. He further honed his skills playing U18 in Idaho, followed by Junior hockey in Wyoming and Colorado. Before stepping into his current role as a player advisor, Cameron served as the Client Relationship Manager at Trailblazer Hockey Advisors for two years.

Duke Cameron Litwin
Family Advisor

Duke is a bright young hockey mind, having graduated from the University of Arizona with a BA Social & Behavioral Sciences – Sports Management, while playing College Hockey with the University of Arizona Wildcats. Duke has extensive Agency working experience, along with having worked with the NHL Arizona Coyotes & AHL Tucson Roadrunners on the hockey operations side. Duke is currently based in Montréal, Quebec.

Caleb Dolman
Family Advisor

Caleb’s hockey journey has taken him across Canada and into the United States, from the junior ranks to earning scholarships at both the college and university levels. Caleb played with the University of Saskatchewan Huskies, where he was recognized as a USports Academic All-Canadian.

Based out of Saskatoon, Caleb is a 2025 University of Saskatchewan Bachelor of Science in Nursing graduate, specializing in Child and Youth mental health care. He combines his in depth hockey knowledge, a holistic approach, and a strong passion for mental health advocacy to support his clients on their pathway to higher levels of hockey & academics.

Trevyn Irvine
Hockey Ops Intern

Trevyn began his association with TrailBlazer Hockey as a valued client of our advisory services. We were impressed from day one with Trevyn’s professionalism, organization and dedication on and off the ice. Trevyn finished his minor career with the CSSHL North Shore Warriors and has now entered Mount Royal University in Calgary, Alberta where he will be studying Business with a focus on Sports Management. Trevyn brings a fresh, young outlook along with advanced knowledge on social media and digital marketing to go along with his in-depth hockey knowledge.

Brody Howatt
Family Advisor

Brody is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he played 4 years of varsity hockey. After serving 5 years in the military he has worked in the world of finance. Brody first learned the game of hockey from his father, Garry, who played 12 years in the NHL and won two Stanley Cups with the New York Islanders. Post his playing days, Brody stayed close to the game coaching at levels from mites to high school. Brody currently coaches his sons within the Mid Fairfield program out of Stamford, Connecticut.

Nick Holroyd
Contract Analysis & Research

Nick is a law student at the University of Saskatchewan after previously achieving a Bachelor of Sports Management (Honours) at Brock University in St. Catherine’s, Ontario. Vince has worked as Manager of Operations in the Professional Canadian Elite Basketball League as well as Game Day Coordinator in the Western Canada Baseball League. Nick brings a wealth of knowledge and a strong analytical approach to the our team.

Vince Reilly
Hockey Analytics & Contracts

Vince is based in Boston, Massachusetts where he is a law student at Suffolk University – having previously achieved a BA in Political Science and History and Belmont University in Tennessee, earning an MA in Sport Administration. Vince previously worked for the NHL Nashville Predators in hockey operations & analytics, including experience in contract comparisons and analysis. Vince also worked in replay analytics for Major League Baseball (MLB). Vince played college baseball at Grinnell College in Iowa.

Jon Quinn
Marketing & Communications

Jon Quinn previously served as the Director of Marketing & Communications with the Saint John Sea Dogs of the QMJHL for five seasons where he worked closely with future NHLers like Thomas Chabot, Mathieu Joseph, and Jonathan Huberdeau. Currently working in the tech education space, Jon brings twelve years of expertise in sports marketing, public relations, communications, and digital media to Trailblazer Hockey Advisors as their Head of Marketing & Communications.
